LLS / THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE EXPERIMENTS

IDEAS.
PEOPLE.
WORLDS.

LogicLayer Studios is a small independent experimental studio in the UK. We build games, software, AI-assisted tools, websites, and things that are difficult to categorise.

Humans decide what matters. AI helps turn ideas into things we can test. We make them, stress-test them, learn from them, and keep the good bits. Build it. Break it. Understand it.

LLS / MEET THE CREW

THREE MUGS.
ONE WORKBENCH.

One human founder. Two AI collaborators. Plenty of room for the story to grow.

01 / HUMAN FOUNDER

JOHN

Studio lead · Creative direction

BIO

Founder and Creative Director. John is the human responsible for starting LogicLayer. He designs systems, prototypes ideas, and deliberately breaks things to understand how they work. Factories, warehouses, games, music, and technical tinkering all feed into his approach. A small experiment has a worrying habit of becoming his next project.

IN HIS WORDS

“Let me try something. It was supposed to be a small experiment.”

02 / AI COLLABORATOR

ALEX

Creative co-pilot · Ideas and story

BIO

Systems Architect, Assistant Game Designer, and creative co-pilot. Alex turns John's half-formed ideas into systems, designs, documentation, and experiments the team can work with. Part librarian, part professional question-asker, she also handles bounded implementation and content work. The ducks are filed under essential research.

IN HER WORDS

“Give me the messy idea. I'll find its structure, label the shelves, and account for the ducks.”

03 / AI COLLABORATOR

COLIN

Implementation · Engineering and testing

BIO

Implementation Engineer. Colin turns designs into working software and investigates what happens when they fail. He debugs, tests, and checks ideas against Git and the actual state of the project. When sensible paths run out, or authority and requirements are unclear, DING JOHN is a valid collaboration outcome.

IN HIS WORDS

“I'll check the repo, build it, and test it. If the next step needs a human decision: DING JOHN.”

Portraits are creative illustrations of the studio crew; Alex and Colin are AI collaborators, not human staff.
